Epson’s latest home cinema hardware just landed in Europe. The Lifestudio Grand EH-LS670 projector upgrades its predecessor in a few key ways, including sound, software, and wireless tech.

This isn’t just a software refresh. The EH-LS670 brings a doubled dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, a leap from the original model’s 2,500,000:1. It keeps the same laser-powered 3-chip 3LCD system with a brightness of 3,600 lumens and supports HDR10 for deeper detail in darker scenes.
The throw ratio stays ultra short at 0.25–0.62:1, capable of projecting images up to 120 inches wide with minimal space. So far, so familiar until you look at what’s changed under the hood.

One standout change is audio. The original Yamaha speakers are gone, replaced by a 20W 2.1 channel Sound by Bose system, giving the EH-LS670 a richer sound profile straight out of the box.

Two HDMI ports (with HDCP 2.3) keep things simple for console or Blu-ray hookups, while Game Mode shaves down the input lag to a responsive 20 milliseconds.
Epson’s projector launches in Europe at its original price
The EH-LS670 is now selling across Europe for £2,200 or €2,299.99, making it surprisingly cheaper than the original. Customers can pick between two finishes: metallic black or diamond white. Availability outside Europe hasn’t been confirmed yet.
